Welcome to 2010

As we say good-bye to 2009 we remember many events during the year.
We found out we were pregnant in July while Dwight's cousins from Texas were visiting. Mugsy announced he was going to be a big brother. Dwight was asked to sell seed corn for a company which we have bought from for many years. We went on an awesome 9 night cruise which was shortly followed by living in a hospital for 21 days. Kelly's grandmother passed away on Thanksgiving which was followed a few days later by the birth of Kayla Anne on November 30th. Quite a busy, stressful and joyous year!

We welcome 2010 with lots of hopes and dreams. Of course our focus now is getting ready to bring our little Kayla home. We are patiently waiting for the day she gets to leave the hospital and join us in our house!

Kayla is now ~ 2 lbs 12 oz. She is still eating well and appears to be putting some meat on her bones. Her head scan and blood results came back normal which we are very happy about. Yesterday when we held her, we were able to dress her in an adorable robe from Aunt Donna and family. It looked so tiny before we put it on her! She will need to grow into it. This week she will have her eyes checked to make sure they are functioning properly. Overall she is still doing good.
