Our goat arrived from NY last weekend. Kayla checked him out and decided he passed inspection.
Dwight, Kayla and I went to pick strawberries together for the first time on Friday. Kayla was not a big fan of this process. I think she was mad because we told her she would have to wait until next year to eat fresh strawberries.
On Saturday the three of us went to a small gathering for our Sunday school class. It was nice to get out of the house and have a change of scenery. The food was really good too!! Kayla was good and seemed to like all the new stuff and people to look at.
She got to celebrate her first Memorial Day by hanging out with Mommy and Daddy. Unfortunately we didn't get to BBQ due to the crazy thunderstorm and mass quantity of rain.
Today she went for another Pediatrician appointment. She now weighs 9lbs 14.5 oz. The doctor said she looks good and can even start getting very very small quantities of fruit baby food. We are very excited about that!! The poor girl received 6 vaccines, 1 orally and 3 injections. She apparently has caught on to the fact that she doesn't like injections since she tried grabbing the needle! She goes for her follow-up Cardiologist appointment next Tuesday.
Question for our peeps:
We are looking into purchasing a video camera. We have been looking at the Flip UltraHD or the Sony handycam with 80GB. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?
