Not Ready Yet
The nurses had to give Kayla a feeding tube again today. She was not drinking enough for the NICU. She also lost weight again, so they are now going to try feeding her with a minimum. She will be given the chance to drink from a bottle and if she does not take enough then they will feed the remaining milk with the tube. This means her release date will be not be until sometime in March.

Dwight and Kelly, So sorry to hear Kayla needs to stay longer. She is in a good place, she just needs to decide the farm is better than the hospital. Keep the faith and we will continue to pray for you all.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the delay. Maybe she wants to wait this snowstorm out in Philly like the rest! We are looking forward to having her confidently leaving the hospital!
