We saw the insurance claim for Kayla's stay in the NICU. Apparently Kayla is a million dollar baby! Luckily the insurance company should be paying most, if not all, of her bill.
Kayla's first St. Patty's day was a busy one. She had her follow up eye exam in Hershey. The doctor said her retinas are now mature but she is farsighted. He told us to be aware if she starts going cross eyed so that they can hopefully fix it early. So far we haven't seen any problems. She has a follow up appointment in 6 months.
Kayla's pediatrician visit last Friday went well. She weighted 6 lbs 12.5 ozs. She has another appointment tomorrow and we are hoping she will weigh 7 lbs.
Please continue to pray for my father. He had knee surgery this week and is still in the hospital due to complications. Hopefully he will be discharged tomorrow. Please pray for him and my mother during this time.

A baby can pass gas, urinate and spit up all at the same time. Quite impressive!
